Observation Hours
so I was talking to my friend this weekend who goes to school up in New York. We started talking about observation hours, and she was surprised when I told her we were responsible for our own observation hours. The school she goes to, they set up your observation hours. I wish Kutztown did that for us. I think it would be so much easier for them to tell us to go do your hours, instead of you having to find the schools, and the time yourself. I just thought it would be really cool if Kutztown could do that for us. I don't think it would ever happen, but one could wish. It is kinda cool to talk to people for colleges in different states, but the requirements are different, and their policies are different....

Inclusion Classroom
So when I did my observation hours I was following a special ed teacher who was mostly an inclusion teacher. She took three students out of their regular class just for reading then they went back to the regular classroom with the other students while the special ed teacher helped them there. I know a lot of people are in favor of inclusion for special ed students, but I don't know how I feel about it. I honestly feel that those students would be better off if they spent more time with the special ed teacher in small groups, because once they went into their regular classroom they all got distracted by the other students and they were not doing their school work, then they were getting in trouble for not working. So I was wondering how other people felt about inclusion, because all the teachers I have ever worked with seem to like included their students.... I just really don't know
